Village of Belcarra

Belcarra is a rural residential community situated in a superb natural setting on the east side of Indian Arm, a majestic deep-water fjord. Surrounded by mountains, forests and water, it's 28 kilometers from downtown Vancouver. This small community of 700 is populated with single-family units, priced in the higher end of the residential market reflecting the household incomes of its inhabitants. Epitomizing the relaxed West Coast lifestyle, Belcarra Regional Park (which is twice the size of Stanley Park) provides a wide range of land & water-based recreational activities, including public beaches, picnic areas, campgrounds, including wharves and floats for boaters.

Apart from its beautiful recreational amenities Belcarra does not contain any businesses or services other than the Village of Belcarra administrative office. The area is characterized by the beautiful natural environment which you can completely call "The West Coast" with large evergreen trees and stunning ocean views of Bedwell Bay and Indian Arm. A paradise for recreation, you can spend the day picnicing with the family at Belcarra regional park where you can dock your boat and watch crabbers and fishermen on the pier. Picnic tables and children's playground make it family friendly. A great place to start your kayaking trip up the Indian Arm or to take a break from power boating.

Sasamat Lake is inviting to those of all ages but is most popular with the younger generation with its white sand beaches at White Pine Beach and clean lake water.

If you are the cruising type a great drive is up Bedwell Bay Road through the winding residential area with hillside homes surrounded by large evergreens and overlooking Bedwell Bay.

Living in Belcarra is taking peaceful living to the fullest with low traffic streets and quietude like being on holidays without ever leaving the Greater Vancouver area.
